• I Am Second

I Am Second is a multifaceted movement that utilizes the influence of well-known celebrities and contemporary multi-media to compel curious seekers to Christ—and to connections with local churches, small groups, and ministries. As I Am Second launched into the Kansas City market it became important for them to have a micro-site to communicate and engage with leaders of local churches and Christian organizations. Element 8 worked closely with the local leadership as well as the national leadership to develop a micro-site that met the needs of the local representatives while staying true to the national brand and identity. I Am Second was under the gun to get the site up quickly for a local marketing effort. Element 8 designed, built, and launched the site three days after being contacted.

  • Sacred Journey

Sacred Journey is a church plant in Blue Springs, Missouri. The church has a missional mindset and desires to reach the un-churched in their community to live a life of service and adventure. When Jim, the senior pastor, started Sacred Journey he was in need of a hip website that would communicate his desire to create a church that was simple and returning to the roots of first century Christianity. We met with Jim to further understand the vibe he was after and created a site that was minimal in design and yet portrayed the ethos he was looking for. As the church prepared to launch for their first service Element 8 also created several print items to help the church communicate their mission to the community.

  • Faith Incorporated

Faith Incorporated is an annual conference hosted by Integrity Resource Center to promote ethical business practices among business men and women. Since 2006 Faith Incorporated has seen more than 1,000 people sign a covenant to be a person of honor, honesty, faith, and integrity in the workplace. IRC needed a fresh website to promote the conference and needed a quick turn-around. Element 8 was able to design and build out the site within just a couple of weeks allowing IRC more time to promote the event on the radio and in print. We also worked with IRC staff to integrate the site with Constant Contact event registrations as well as executing several unique HTML based emails built specifically for Constant Contact.

  • Bliss Events & Weddings

Bliss Events & Weddings has been turning dreams into reality for more than 20 years for their clients. They have organized events for business luncheons, award banquets, and community events with the KC Chiefs and KC Royals. When we first met with Bliss their site was being hosted by a large national hosting company. Bliss needed to save money on their monthly fees but the company that was hosting their site would not budge on their fees. When Bliss decided to leave, the company would not release their website files unless a large fee was paid. In essence, the website was being held hostage. Lynette, the owner of Bliss, reached out to Element 8.

  • Gary Kendall

Gary Kendall is the lead pastor at Indian Creek Community Church in Olathe, Kansas. Gary also leads several ministries including CMA and Project Partner. Gary is a well known international speaker and often travels nationally and internationally to speak about church planting and church growth. Gary needed a website that would be a central location for people to connect with him and read more about the ministries that he supports; a place where people could connect with him via his blog, Twitter, and Facebook; and a place where event organizers could get a media kit for their event.

  • The Network

The Network is a start-up company whose mission is to fill a gap in the print industry due to economic downsizing within the market. The business model for The Network is to recruit the print industry’s most talented technical and professional personnel that have been downsized by industry vendors and printers. These associates contract with The Network on a job-to job basis, keeping overhead low which allows The Network to provide the highest quality work at an economical cost for their customers. Element 8 was hired to create a brand and identity, a new website, and collateral materials. The initial site was developed to communicate with customers and associates with the intent that the site would grow over time into a robust online ordering and support portal.

  • Community Covenant Church

Community Covenant Church is creating accessible pathways through which people can encounter Christ, connect with others, and serve together in God’s kingdom. CCC is located in Lenexa, Kansas. The church had called several area vendors to get estimates for the development of their new site. Vendor after vendor told the church that they couldn’t help them for less than $10,000. After interviewing several vendors the church hired Element 8 to create a site that would fit within their budget and meet their needs at a fraction of the cost of other vendors. Element 8 met with the pastors and leaders of the church over several strategic planning sessions to understand the unique personality of the congregation and to help the church's team identify exactly what they needed for their departments.

  • Church Multiplication Association

CMA is a church planting network that exists to reproduce the next generation of churches and leaders. Element 8 was hired to build the new site for CMA in an effort to build a site that more effectively communicated to young church planters. CMA had budget limitations for their project so we worked with them to determine the key elements that were necessary to accomplish their goals within a structure that would grow with the ministry. Because of the limited budget available to CMA, Element 8 gifted a significant portion of design and development hours to assist in the project.
